Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW) now has a 30 unit building that is nearing completion. What we need now is your help to make it home!
The new building at 362 Erb Street West will be for the homeless, and each of these units will have to be equipped with all items we take for granted! Our new tenants will be coming to live here with very little, or nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Your donations to Adopt a Room will allow us to provide items such as:

Basic Furnishings

Sheets and Pillow Cases, Blankets

Dishes (4 place setting)

Cutlery

Tea Towels, Dish Cloths

Pots and Pans, Toasters, Coffee Makers

Bath Towels & Face Cloths

Personal Hygiene and Cleaning Supplies

These are the basics to get started for one person coming in from "Out of the Cold".

Some of these items will be needed on an on going basis, as most of these folks will be utilizing the Food Banks and personal items are not readily available. Help us give each new tenant a good start! Accepting the responsibility to come into the building, signing a lease and paying rent will be a big challenge. With help they will learn to budget, and provide these basic necessities themselves.
We are asking you to raise enough funds to supply one unit with the above necessities. We estimate $2000.00 per unit but any amount is gratefully received for the SHOW - ADOPT A ROOM.
